MOKO SKINK ACCOMMODATION

Moko Skink Accommodation is situated next to the Beach Access 6 walkway which leads to white sands of Whangamata Beach. The surf banks in this area are at times as good as it gets. Look left and out to the headland and you’ll see the famous Whangamata Bar, easily the best left-hand sand bar in NZ. Surfers are drawn to these breaks from far and wide when the swell is up.

The 360 degree views from the ‘Widows Watch’ viewing platform above Moko Skink Accommodation enables guest to view spectacular sunrises, starry nights and the to check the surf and ocean conditions without leaving the house.

Grab a cold drink and some snacks and take in the views of the Bar, Clarke Island, and the surrounding town and harbour of 'Whanga'

Whangamata is a truly beautiful place to holiday whether it is for surfing, fishing, diving, tramping or alternatively dining, partying or just relaxing. She has it all. Our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Just ask and hopefully we can facilitate most requests.

Moko Skink Accommodation is the ideal place to stay. Enjoy a casual atmosphere that is central to everything locally. We cater for everything from surfing and school groups, couples, families, or just the solo traveller, just give us a ring and we can accommodate your needs. Both levels are self-contained and can be a full floor rental or just a room for the night. Downstairs also has a rumpus room, bar and bunks are available if needed. Also available are surfboards, skim boards, pushbikes and internet access.

Rates vary according to season, length of stay and whether both levels are required. The whole building can sleep up to 12.
